We ALL have a history: We just share perspectives differently.
The United Kindgom established their rule and dominance over the entire world, through warfare, this is a fact! This fact has led to a cultural richness found in the UK today.
There has been an entitlement that has not reflected the importance of having a balanced educational system around the formation of The British Empire - At home and abroad.
Accessibility to truly inclusive and reflective education continues to be limited when it comes to understanding the evolution of culture and why we live in a world that looks the way it does. Today, this creates confusion and misalignments that supports the unrest we have seen over the last few days.
Each and everyone of the 69 million people living in the UK manifests culture and their cultural expressions in unique ways.
Have you ever wondered, why in the UK...
There are Roman Numerals on the faces of Big Ben?
The Lion is an integral symbol?
The entire nation drinks tea, coffee and hot chocolate, yet we do not harvest them?
We do not grow 'Black Pepper'?
We consume Pasta (Europe - Italy), Rice (Asia - China/India)?
Chicken Tikka Masala is Englands' national dish, however Fish & Chips is identified as being a cultural symbol?
The relationships between the current and former colonial nations now Commonwealth nations are under narrated?
The clothes we purchase are made outside of the UK?
We listen to music and watch shows/movies that are not exclusive to UK ' British culture'?
We look around and suffer from cultural and historical amnesia?
Race riots are organised incidents! And so were the movements that existed to establish the Race Relations Act 1965 (46 years after the Race Riots of 1919 that erupted following World War I), which was the first legal act in place to protect non-white British citizens / subjects from the racism they had to endure and continue to face in the place they call home!
Do you know the name, Sir Learie Constantine, first Black Peer in the UK, who was influential in the passing of the Race Relations Act 1965 Act in Great Britain? An act that supports so many today to outlaw discrimination on the grounds of colour, race, or ethnic or national origins in public places in Great Britain.

Something Maya Angelou said many years ago now feels like it will help this make sense, where she says "I have great respect for the past. If you don't know where you've come from, you don't know where you're going. I have respect for the past, but I'm a person of the moment. I'm here, and I do my best to be completely centered at the place I'm at, then I go forward to the next place."
We are taught 'Education' is paramount from an early age, however the context of how to use, implement and develop on it amidst the challenging environments experienced is not conveyed. Generic information has been the prerequisite of the educational systems within the UK and the topics that are available differ between public and private schools, which has been producing the behaviours and outlooks we are inflicted by.
Education at home is encouraged by parents who teach and expose their children to what they know and build on their inquisitive natures. This is where the imbalance to 'education' presents itself, If you do not know and are not confident about what to do, 'What do you share? What do you teach?'
Education creates! Full stop! When you learn something it supports ideas and encourages thinking. Thinking turn in to plans, plans then need investment, plans with investments turn into prototypes and finished products. When you create boxes to suppress creativity it leads to unrest. When you limit/restrict information that will allow a world-view to provide context, it leads to unrest. This unrest creates ideas that have a restrictive baseline and as we get older, it becomes difficult to undo, making our outlooks and interactions stagnated.
What I mean by this is, everything in the natural world that we are apart of evolves based on its surroundings. Our plantlife adapts to the environment based on how the seeds have been synthesised (biological-engineered), nurtured and fed. Leaving room for further evolutionary progress due to the uncertainties they face within unregulated spaces (The World).
Change starts with you! It works from the top down, as leaders inspire the ideas and direction of those who look to them for guidance. How do you embrace the on-going changes and imbalances found within all our educational experiences?

I will leave you with this:
“Dependent people need others to get what they want. Independent people can get what they want through their own effort. Interdependent people combine their own efforts with the efforts of others to achieve their greatest success.”
If you want to see a world that makes sense to you that you have never seen before, start with exploring your ideas, start investing into your abilities to create and then observe how your creations impact and inspire those around you.
